Our Family Vacation
We just got back today from our family vacation to the beach. We went to Orange Beach with my friend Robin, her husband Tommy, and little girl Manze. We had such a good time that we stayed an extra day. The girls had a blast playing together. We took a babysitter which was GREAT!! She stayed in the condo with the girls while they took their nap, which gave Robin and I time to just lay on the beach and relax! We had a lot of good seafood and just a fun time! Taylor, Lainee, and I are going back with my mom and sister on Friday, I LOVE THE BEACH!!

Like Mother Like Daughter
Taylor and I have started cooking together. Nana gave Taylor her first cookbook for her birthday. It is a kids Betty Crocker. She cooked fudge for ice cream sundaes for us all. She did great. I hope that she will continue to enjoy cooking as much as I do.
I'm All Wet !!
Lainee had a great time helping me water my plants. It started out as an accident, she walked through the water, but when she realized it was funny, she did it again and again. She was soaking wet and had a blast.

Taylor's Award's Day
On awards day, Taylor received 2 awards. One for honor roll and the writing award. I was so proud of her. I can't believe she is going into the 5th grade.Lainee's First Day
Lainee's first day at Lakeside was a few weeks ago. She did great. She is in the same class as her friend Manze and a new friend, Emma. I was worried about how she would react going into a class full of strange kids and teachers but she did fine. When I picked her up that afternoon, I met her teacher for the first time. She said she just loved her and that she did great. I was so excited. She has had so much fun ever since then. Each day she says, " I go back and play on the playground!!"
